I find these very comfortable The only thing was when I realised I had one leg shorter than the other it was quite expensive buying three all in one go after buying the initial first one to check size and fit etc! Still with the little perks that come along occassionally, I can live with that!!

Last month I had a hip replacement and unfortunately as i've had this hip operated on 3 times it's left me with one leg shorter than the other. As you can imagine I was very upset. However I sent for a one of these and it is marvellous. I can now walk well without a limp. Thanks so much.
This product I like a lot from a clinical point of view. Simple and easy to use for a clinician. The problem with selling it to the public is there is a risk it could be misused. Leg length discrepancy I treat quite a bit in my hospital work and often patients have a sense that they have a leg length discrepancy or have been told that they have. However this does need to be verified by proper measurement first before the intervention is put in. Even then I do so with great care as affecting a person’s limb length can have a big impact on the pelvis and back as well as their gait in general. I feel that this product needs very clear indications that it should be used only after consulting a health care professional first. Another issue thrown up by the product is the amount of the raise. Some patients may have an actual leg length discrepancy of 2cm but the body may be only able to accommodate a 1cm lift due to the adjustments that need to take place when applied. It also depends on the patient’s medical history. Is there a history of joint replacement? If so the correction of a heel lift could affect the replaced joint adversely.
