I would like to say life is much better for me with Cosyfeet.

I contracted polio when I was young and have always had a struggle to find suitable shoes, but not now - my wife even complains about me having too many shoes.

I find walking easier with Eric & Ernie as they have all the qualities that you would expect from a first class shoe manufacturer, they are very comfortable but not only that they are also smart, stylish and durable.

My feet have never been so well looked after and I would just like to say thank you for the good service I always receive.

I have tried a number of Cosyfeet shoes but these are the overall winners in every respect. Plenty of comfort and room for swollen and mishapen feet, with velcro straps short enough not to look odd and long enough not to need extensions. The positioning and narrow width of the fastening keeps the shoe secure on the foot.

The sole has plenty of grip, even for snow and uncleared pavements. I treated my shoes with the waterproofing spray (available from Cosyfeet) and though covered in snow my feet were kept dry.

Lastly, the photos don't really do the shoes justice. They look smart with an edge of ruggedness.

The alternative version, 'Eric' is equally as good but with the added security of laces, useful should you be capable of fell walking and similar pursuits.

We are really pleased with this men’s casual, this is one of our most popular styles in the shop. It’s made on our polyurethane sole with a good tread making it ideal if you are active. It’s a younger looking style than anything else we do. Made of a soft leather, it’s really roomy in the toe area and has two removable insoles making it ideal if you need even more depth or have your own orthotics to put in. This has a Velcro® fastening, but if you prefer a lace up, take a look at our Eric style.

Useful tips to keep Ernie looking great…

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Allow to dry fully and treat with an appropriately coloured shoe cream or polish, alternatively use our QuickShine.
If the shoes get wet allow them to dry naturally, don’t put them in the airing cupboard or near a fire or radiator. Stuffing them with newspaper or tissue will help ensure they maintain their shape whilst drying.
