Overall These are wonderful - very comfortable and supportive too. They look smart and modern, but they're a comfy and roomy fit for my 7EEEE feet. When I first ordered them, I decided to exchange them for a size larger, as I knew I'd be wearing thick socks in the winter.

Overall I ordered a pair of Julia boots in brown after reading the reviews and seeing the comments that they are suitable for the 'young at heart', etc. However, I'm disappointed in the styling and will be sending them back. (Also, although I ordered my correct size I found them too big - unlike one of the other reviewers here who had the opposite problem.) As another reviewer has pointed out, they do look a bit like a medical boot, and although jeans hide this when you're standing it becomes very apparent when you sit down. I've spent most of my adult life looking for healthy, comfortable shoes that look good as well - guess I'll have to keep on searching.

Overall These boots look the part and they are of very high quality, unfortunately because of this they do not stretch at all. I ordered my correct length and this was my mistake. After reading about the boots I felt I could get away with my correct size and not order the next one up for the first time in years. But they are not wide enough and although I have worn them all winter on and off to try and make them mould into my feet they still hurt across the foot after a short while of wearing. I could not wear them for a whole day. So be warned if you always have ordered a larger size for the width you will need to do this also with these boots.

Overall Like most if not all cosyfeet footwear, these are not only wide but deep as well. They are especially good as they do not have a seam at the bunion area. My bunions are almost completely straightened out since wearing cosyfeet shoes and boots.

Overall These have a lovely straight inner toe edge and like others have said are not too old ladyish. I got them because I have always had very wide feet. Then when pregnant with my fourth child at age 40 my feet swelled up like an elephant for the first time ever and these were the only footwear I could get on my feet. I gave it four stars as I think cosyfeet could offer shoes and boots that have a younger appeal, from reviews we see there are younger customers. And even people younger than 40 need wide footwear. Only cosyfeet offer very wide footwear, other companies 'wide' shoes are nowhere near the width of cosyfeet. I certainly needed it from when I first walked and started having more problems from early twenties and after each baby. Not just old ladies have wide feet. And when I am an old lady, I won't want old lady shoes, and I know my gran didn't, she didn't get to aged 90 plus and change her taste in shoes, don't expect anyone does. And it is a shame whenever cosyfeet start selling something younger looking (i got some lovely mules a few years ago and some interview/work shoes) , they soon stop again.
Having said that, well done cosyfeet, don't know what I would do without you. And anyone looking at these boots, they are well worth buying. -

Overall These Julia boots are my favourite footwear, pretty much all year round! They are very comfortable - a must with my very swollen and painful arthritic feet. As somebody who has turned 40 this year I don't want to look like I'm wearing old ladies shoes and these Julia boots really do fit the bill. They don't look like a medical aids boot but offer the comfort of one anyway!

Overall Although these boots are not exactly the same as the ones I bought last winter (mine were two tone) they are in effect identical.
I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis 2 years ago and as my feet are fairly painful I find I can no longer wear anything with a heel. Couple this with the fact I need orthotic insoles to adjust my stance this limits my choice somewhat! I found these boots invaluable during the winter as they kept my feet warm and dry, allowed me to insert the insoles and were infinitely adjustable to accommodate my swelling ankles as the day progresses - another joy in my life! Although these boots may look a little bit like a "medical" shoe on their own, when worn with jeans or trousers they just look like any other boot - just much more comfortable.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone with feet that need a little TLC!

Overall At last I've found extra wide footwear that doesn't make me feel "old before time"!!!
They look great at the end of my jeans!!!
These boots are so comfortable, even with my foot orthosis, that I now have three pairs!!!
They are fantastic and I highly recommend them to everyone, especially if you are young at heart like me. Thanks cosyfeet...let's have more for younger people who have foot issues. -

Overall As soon as I put my feet into the Julie boot I couldn't believe just how comfortable a boot could be. They are a dream to wear. For years I have bought bigger sizes and even men's boots just to be able to get my feet into them. As a result my feet were often very painful when wearing them. I can unreservedly recommend this boot. Rosie

Overall I have just had the bought the Julia boot. It is so comfortable the first boot I have ever had that does not hurt me to think how I have suffered all these years, thank you so very much, thank you seems so inadequate but THANK YOU. If you have sore painful feet, I highly recommend you buy the Julia boot, I promise you won’t be disappointed. From a very satisfied customer.

Our warm lined ankle boot is great for cold weather. Made on our square toed last, it has plenty of room for sensitive toes and it has removable insoles so you can make it roomier or put your own orthotics in. It offers good ankle support but as it does not open very far down the front it will not fit if you have a lot of swelling on the top of the foot. I have found that some customers have had difficulty getting their foot down into the boot but once on, have found it very comfortable.

Useful tips to keep Julia - Extra Roomy looking great…
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Allow to dry fully and treat with an appropriately coloured shoe cream or polish, alternatively use our QuickShine. Take extra care with light colours.
- If the shoes get wet allow them to dry naturally, don’t put them in the airing cupboard or near a fire or radiator. Stuffing them with newspaper or tissue will help ensure they maintain their shape whilst drying.
