Bought these as a present for my father who has trouble finding comfortable shoes for larger feet. Originally ordered the "rupert" style but he liked the look of higher ones with support to the ankle. They were swapped out really quickly by Cosyfeet thankfully and he was delighted with these.
Would recommend this style over the shorter styles- so many people usually go for the same style they are used to but apparently these are miles better :o)

I have been buying the Robert Slipper for my father for many years now and have found nothing similar in terms of comfort, durability and ease of slipping on. My father has grossly swollen fit and fixed contractures of his knees, so all movement is difficult and painful. We can slide these on without any discomfort and they are readily ajustable to accomodate the swelling.Real lifesavers - thanks

We purchased these slippers for my father-in-law as he was in hospital for rehabilitation on the elderly ward. At the time he was unable to fit into his normal shoes and slippers as his feet had swollen so much. The Robert slippers were excellent as they were easy to get into, were perfect to wear because of the swollen ankles, and helped keep Harry's feet warm and comfortable. He was absolutely delighted with the quality and freedom that these slippers provided and we are hoping to purchase a similar pair of slippers again. Our bootee slippers give more ankle support than a low cut slipper. They have rubber soles and are suitable to be worn indoors or outside and they are machine washable. The brown Trilobal fabric is the stretchiest and will accommodate the most swelling or bandaging. They do have a toe seam so if you have very sensitive toes you may find the low cut styles better as they are seam-free in the toe area. They are easy to put on as they open right down the front and offer maximum warmth as they come up around the ankle.

Useful tips to keep Robert looking great…

Machine wash at 40 degrees then stuff with newspaper or tissue to help them maintain their shape and allow them to dry naturally. Don’t put them in the airing cupboard or near a fire or radiator.
