I suffer from Arthritis & the moment I put my feet into my SUSAN shoes I said "thank you God"My feet have never felt so good. I thought they might look like old ladies shoes but they do not. They are very stylish & smart thank you.

Bought these a few months ago for my mum who had been unable to walk very far due to Hammer Toes and bunions. They are so light and comfy and they fit really well. We have been able to resume some short outings, which mum has enjoyed tremendously as she was previously very active before the dementia started. She really likes them so I bought her another pair in a different colour. Thank you.

They fit, my mother has diabetes, a bunion, hammer toes and three pair of these shoes so that she can coordinate her outfits. I have lymphodemia which means there are times when these are the only shoes that fit, I have two pairs and rate them highly. I may add that given my condition Cosyfeet are the only shoes I can wear with comfort and satisfaction. Service is terrific and having a choice of style and colour is bliss.

My mum has suffered with bunions, hammer toes and extremely swollen feet for years getting to the point that she couldn't get shoes to fit and so has been unable to walk or go out.
Thank you Cosyfeet for making shoes she can get on and enjoys wearing - she is mobile again - she will not be trying to get into the 2012 Olympic squad but is certainly enjoying being able to walk more! -

These shoes gave my mum her life back again. At 85 and still relatively fit, mum was really depressed as she was unable to get out of the house because she couldn't bear the pain of putting shoes over her bunion - which has a corn on it. It was with trepidation we bought these and convinced her to try them out. Now 91 we never know where she is - she walks (with her zimmer) to friends' houses, to the shops etc. Thank you Cosyfeet on behalf of our family. My mum has her independence back but even better we have our mum back.

They looked as if they were made to measure for me.
If I could only keep two shoes in our range it would be this style and the touch fastening version called Jodie. The Elastane front makes them brilliant for ladies with bunions or hammer toes because the fabric stretches over practically any shape of foot without causing any pressure on painful joints. This shoe will also fit a bandaged foot. I think it is a good “half way house” shoe. If you haven’t worn any shoes for some time maybe you have only been wearing slippers, this is the style to go for. Even soft leather uppers may still cause problems for your toes but this material won’t but you will have the support of leather around the back and a proper outdoor sole. The Elastane is only shower proof, so not good in very bad weather. Also it’s rather warm as it’s not a breathable fabric. I think in black, this shoe looks like velvet if you want it for a smarter occasion. The Elastane in Navy is not a true navy, being slightly lighter than the leather back.

Useful tips to keep Susan looking great…
Protecting your leather / elastane footwear
- We recommend you regularly treat the leather area of your footwear with shoe protector to protect it from water and guard against stains.
Cleaning & caring for leather / elastane footwear
- Wipe the leather area clean with a damp cloth and allow it to dry fully before using a good quality shoe polish or shoe cream in an appropriate colour. Apply with a suitable cloth, rub in until absorbed and then buff up with another cloth. A neutral polish is sensible for all colours.
- Allow any mud or stains to dry before attempting to remove them from the elastane area. Once dry, remove any dirt with a stiff brush and then wipe with a damp cloth.
- If your shoes get wet allow them to dry naturally. Don’t put them in the airing cupboard or near a fire or radiator. Stuffing them with newspaper or tissue will help ensure they maintain their shape whilst drying.
