As a diabetic with awkward-sized feet, I have to choose shoes with special care. Over several years, I have tried several different styles in the Cosyfeet range and have always been satisfied. So comfortable and so pretty too!. I've worn them a lot for at least five years and the shoes themselves are still in excellent condition. Unfortunately I have to throw them out because the velcro no longer holds - which is the reason I've given them four stars instead of five. What a pity!

I have bought quite a few different colours of this design. However the latest are Patent leather. They are smart and very comfortable and light weight. I have even ordered another pair for when they are needed.

This is one of the most popular styles in the shop. I find that lots of ladies like it because it looks great with trousers but also smart with skirts and dresses. There is a huge range of colours to suit all tastes and it is a good all year round shoe, being fairly open for warmer days but offering the protection of a closed in shoe for wet weather. The T bar makes it very easy to put on, there’s no tongue to struggle with and the false buckle is such a clever idea as you only have to press the strap down to fasten it. It is quite generous in the front, with no seams so it’s good for sore and swollen toes.

Useful tips to keep Catherine looking great…

Protecting leather footwear

We recommend you regularly treat leather footwear with shoe protector to protect it from water and guard against stains.

Cleaning & caring for leather footwear

Wipe footwear clean with a damp cloth and allow it to dry fully before using a good quality shoe polish or shoe cream in an appropriate colour. Apply with a suitable cloth, rub in until absorbed and then buff up with another cloth. A neutral polish is sensible for all colours.
If your shoes get wet allow them to dry naturally. Don’t put them in the airing cupboard or near a fire or radiator. Stuffing them with newspaper or tissue will help ensure they maintain their shape whilst drying.

Protecting Patent leather footwear

We recommend you regularly treat patent leather footwear with shoe protector to protect it from water and guard against stains.

Cleaning & caring for Patent Leather

Remove any dirt with a damp cloth using a mild soap if needed. Wipe clean with a dry cloth or paper towel.
Shine your shoes (once they are dry) by rubbing on a small amount of mineral oil or petroleum jelly with a cotton ball in a small circular motion. Buff any excess away with a lint-free cloth.
Minor scratches and scuff marks can be removed using a light application of acetone-based nail-polish remover. Dip a cotton swab into the bottle of polish remover and rub over the scuffed area with gentle strokes.
