Walk off your Christmas pudding with a festive stroll

This Christmas, Britain's walking charity ‘Ramblers’ are encouraging people to get fitter and healthier over the festive period by doing more walking.

Enjoy a festival of winter walks

Blow away the Christmas cobwebs and get out in the great outdoors for some fresh air. The Festival of Winter Walks is an annual event that’s organised by the walking charity ‘Ramblers’. It’s made up of hundreds of walks that take place all over the country between 23rd December 2017 and 7th January 2018.

The walks are free, fun and open to everybody. Many of them are short and family-friendly but there’s also plenty of longer walks for the seasoned hiker.

A festive walk gets people out of the house and into the countryside after a period of yule tide cabin fever. It's a great way to burn off your Christmas dinner and have fun with the family at the same time.

For more information on Ramblers wintry walks, go to their Festival of Winter Walks page at www.ramblers.org.uk.

Why not take a look at our 100% waterproof boots. Moose for women and Livingstone for men are ideal for winter walks.

Team them with a pair of Active Wool Seam-free Socks for the ultimate in comfort.
