A shock-absorbing shoe for active feet

Introducing Move

Our new sporty shoe for swollen feet is specially made to protect knee and ankle joints when patients are on the go.

In tests by the University of Central Lancashire, Move was shown to deliver between 23% and 25% less impact shock to the lower leg than other leading brand trainers. This is due to our new Cushion Active Underfoot Comfort System which offers an exceptional level of shock-absorption and cushioning.

To test the impact shock, a drop rig was used consisting of a variable height and set mass of 42kg and incorporating a multi-flex prosthetic foot. The drop rig explored the differences in loading properties between Move and two competitor trainers. A significant difference was seen between each of the trainers with the lowest peak impact forces seen in the Cosyfeet Move.

As well as giving an outstanding level of underfoot comfort, Move has a lightweight, super-flexible sole that flexes with the foot for maximum comfort.

A padded tongue also cushions the instep and it has a deep, seam-free toe box that provides excellent protection for sensitive toes. The soft, padded collar around the ankle fits both swollen and slimmer ankles.

“Research has shown that keeping active is really beneficial to health,” says Managing Director Andrew Peirce. “This sporty shoe is designed to help people take exercise without causing impact damage to their joints.”
