Walk off your dinner with a festive stroll

This Christmas, Britain's walking charity ‘Ramblers’ are encouraging people to get fitter and healthier over the festive period by doing more walking.

The Festival of Winter Walks is an annual event that’s organised by the walking charity ‘Ramblers’. It’s made up of hundreds of walks that take place all over the country between Saturday 17th December 2016 and Sunday 8th January 2017.

The walks are free, fun and open to everybody. Many of them are short and family-friendly but there’s also plenty of longer walks for the seasoned hiker.

It's a great way to burn off your Christmas dinner and have fun with the family at the same time.

For more information on Ramblers wintry walks, go to their Festival of Winter Walks page at www.ramblers.org.uk.
