Michele, Customer Services Advisor
How long have you worked for Cosyfeet?
I joined the company on 13th May 1996, so 27 years now!
Which department, or departments, have you worked in?
I worked in the Returns department and was once the Returns Supervisor. Then I moved to work in Customer Services, where I still work now, but I have also been out with the team at shows around the country.
What was your first impression of Cosyfeet, and how has that changed over time?
It’s a very good company to work for. When I joined, it was a very kind, considerate family-run firm and a very happy place to work - not much has changed over the years!
What is your favourite part about working for Cosyfeet?
The people I work with, the company of the other members of the team, and the satisfaction of helping our customers to the best of my ability, these are just a few of my favourite things about working here.
What has been the biggest change you've seen at Cosyfeet since you started working here?
The biggest change over the years, other than the increase in work force and building work space, is the introduction of emails as well as ordering online and selling all over the world.
Outside of your work at Cosyfeet, what else do you enjoy doing?
My personal interests include being a member of a local Carnival Club, as well as a season ticket holder at Bristol City Football Club, I also enjoy spending plenty of time with my seven grandchildren.
Will, Photographer and Studio Manager
How long have you worked for Cosyfeet?
It's actually my 20th work anniversary this year.
Which department, or departments, have you worked in?
I started working in the Returns department, then moved to the IT department for a few years. From there, I began my role as the company Photographer (around 2008).
What was your first impression of Cosyfeet, and has that changed over time?
During my induction in 2003, I remember thinking it was much bigger than I had expected. Cosyfeet has always had great customer service at its heart, while designing products that make a difference to our customers' daily lives.
What is your favourite part about working for Cosyfeet?
I really love being a photographer, and having the chance to be creative on a daily basis is a wonderful part of the job I love.
What has been the biggest change you've seen at Cosyfeet since you started working here?
Probably the demand for online shopping, as time has progressed, the Cosyfeet website has been just as important as our catalogue mailings, for a few years now. When I started working for Cosyfeet, online shopping wasn’t as popular as it is today, and the printed catalogue was the main source of shopping for our customers.
Outside of your work at Cosyfeet, what else do you enjoy doing?
Well, working for Cosyfeet has also created some fantastic opportunities for me as a freelance photographer, and I’ve been lucky enough to be involved with a number of high-profile events. Not directly work-related, but I also met my now-wife when she joined the Cosyfeet family in 2007. We have been together for ten years, married for four, and have a little boy.
