International Women’s Day (March 8th) is a global awareness day celebrating the achievements of women from all around the world. In recognition of this day, and to celebrate women everywhere, we got in touch with our very own team here at Cosyfeet, to find out about their lives and careers.

Daisy - Copywriter
How long have you worked for Cosyfeet and what do you love most about your job?
I've worked for Cosyfeet for a while now as I started as a Saturday girl when I was just 16! After more than ten years, I have experienced a lot of different departments, mainly within the Marketing Team. Now I am in the Copywriter role, I love being able to use language effectively and efficiently in a creative way to communicate to our customers and beyond.
Which women do you most admire, and why?
My mum is a really significant person in my life and her influence and guidance has always been a source of great inspiration for me. As an avid reader, I am a big fan of Harper Lee, with 'To Kill a Mockingbird' being one of my favourite books. Agatha Christie is another of my heroes, and the way she helped to shape an entire literary genre that has had such a lasting impact, meaning her stories are told over and over again.
Outside of work, what achievements are you most proud of?
My son, he's four years old and makes me smile everyday. Watching him learn and grow really is one of the best feelings in the world - I can't wait to see what he will do next! I also work part-time as a make-up artist and it's always so exciting to see my creative work in another setting, away from language.
Do you have a quote or piece of advice that you live your life by?
From the iconic Coco Chanel '"A girl should be two things: who and what she wants."
Laura - Human Resources Manager
How long have you worked for Cosyfeet and what do you love most about your job?
I have just recently passed my eighteenth anniversary at Cosyfeet and within my role as HR Manager my favourite part of my job is supporting and coaching staff members through challenges and developmental opportunities. Seeing people grow and become happier, more confident and content in their jobs is so rewarding.
Which women do you most admire, and why?
I admire the singer P!nk. She has such a strong and empowering personality that resonates through her songs, interviews and speeches. She works hard but is also the most devoted mum too. Being true to yourself and not letting other people get you down is a mantra that we all should embrace.
Outside of work, what achievements are you most proud of?
My biggest achievement is becoming a mum. From a young age I knew what kind of mum I wanted to be and to make that a reality makes me so incredibly proud. I have two daughters who have unique personalities and interests yet are similar in their love, kindness and respect. They make me proud every day.
Do you have a quote or piece of advice that you live your life by?
“Nothing is forever” – embrace change and the ability you have to change something for the better if you are not happy.
