Cosyfeet first started back in 1983, and so many things have changed since then. Over the years our marketing team have continued to look at new ways of designing and developing each new collection and range - months of planning ideas and concepts go into every shoot, ready for each season.
Ahead of our latest Autumn/Winter launch our creative department and CHS agency have been working hard producing some exciting new content - join us in taking a look behind-the-scenes.
Located in the idyllic countryside, lies a beautiful Georgian Manor house, with views of greenery surrounding it. This picturesque building is the location for our Autumn/Winter 2022 shoot; the perfect setting to make every photo feel like a cosy fairytale.
“We stayed at the lovely ‘Almer Manor’ for the recent shoot, surrounded by the Dorset countryside. The property was based centrally to both ourselves in Somerset and the photography agency, who are based in Dorset. It can be quite time consuming finding the right location – for Autumn/Winter, we look for cosy interiors with open fireplaces, and lots of architectural details, in addition, the outside spaces need to look ‘autumnal’ in the height of summer. Almer Manor was perfect with its period details, mature trees and wild grassy fields and lanes.” Juliette, Catalogue Creative Manager.
“I really enjoy going away on our photoshoots, we shoot and stay in the same house, so we're properly immersed in all things Cosyfeet for the whole week. There's a few of us from Cosyfeet - the catalogue team and our photographer. And some lovely people from the creative agency, CHS, who we work with, as well as our fabulous models, Jacqui and Greg. This year we welcomed model, Della, to the crew, who was wonderful to work with as well.” Elsie, Catalogue Project Manager.

When you start to think about New Year and celebrations, you instantly think of glitz and glam, and that’s exactly what the team wanted to create for our occasion shoot. Our models dressed for the occasion, matching perfectly with our sparkling, smart shoes - capturing the moment of celebration.
The following smart styles are the perfect glamorous accessory for any occasion. Our in-house photographer, Will, and Catalogue Manager, Elsie, capture the shoes perfectly, making use of the props and professional lighting.
“Our location house in Dorset proved to be the perfect setting for our Autumn/Winter 2022 photoshoot. Shooting out of season on location is always challenging - on one of the hottest days of this year we were shooting for Christmas in front of an open fire! Whatever the season, it’s always nice to see the imagery being used on the artwork created by our fantastic Graphic Designers.” Will, Photographer.
An early Christmas celebration
Our dedicated catalogue team and external creative agency get to work creating the ultimate cosy Christmas.
“It can be a bit strange working a full season ahead, especially this year, when we're inside with a log fire burning, tree decorated - shooting Christmas in the middle of June!” Elsie, Catalogue Project Manager.
From the baubles on the Christmas tree, to the log fire crackling in the background, every detail has been carefully thought through, to make sure the scene is picture-perfect. As there’s nothing more cosy than stepping into your slippers on a Christmas evening.
“We put months of planning into these shoots, so it's great when we're actually there seeing our ideas, concepts and the shots come together. I especially enjoy when we set up a scene for a model shot, like a party or cosy sofa area - we don't just ask the models to sit down to be photographed, every interior and angle is professionally and creatively, organised and tweaked. Hundreds of photos are taken of each shot and we then dedicate time at the end of each day to choose the best ones. We shoot all of our off foot, group footwear shots too.” Elsie, Catalogue Project Manager.
“It’s been such an eye-opening experience seeing how everything comes to life; every prop, item of furniture, and lighting has been carefully placed and styled, to create the perfect scene.” Natalie, Digital Marketing Assistant.
“It was a very busy week, but we all worked really hard (it was also fun to make use of the tennis court and pizza oven at the property at the end of long days - work hard, play hard right?!) and I personally found it really fulfilling to be involved in this creative space with great people.
