I purchased these along with some extra roomy knee highs. I breathed a sigh of relief the moment I put on the knee highs, and after wearing them for a whole day. Unfortunately, because I am under 5ft 2inches, the hold up I tried on immediately curled and rolled down my thigh, and turning it over did not keep it properly in place below the knee.

These extra roomy are great for me with a large thigh of 20" at the top. I tried the standard width but found they curled up at the top and then began to come down after a while. I've had no problem with the extra roomy. For those like me who find the constricting waistbands of tights very uncomfortable but still need warmth, they are really good at keeping out the cold in the winter months. I wouldn't ever be without them.

My mother is only 5'2" and she has had quite a few pairs of these warm hold ups, which she really does like, but she always turns the top down, because the legs are too long, I do not think this is good, but you do not make a small size of these, which is a great pity as I am sure a lot more people would love these, but will not send for them as they only come in the standard size. Is there any chance in the future you will make the petite size? I do hope so. Hoping for a reply on this

If you feel the cold, you may like to try these hold ups. They are great if you want more warmth than is provided by a knee high but find tights too difficult to put on. Being 80 denier these will keep you warm on the coldest of days. A few customers don’t get on with hold ups, I think it’s to do with the leg shape but do give them a try because you can always return them if you find them unsuitable. This extra roomy fitting is great if your legs swell.
