Update about our shop in Street, Somerset
As a company, we want to do our upmost to help protect our community. With this in mind, and with a heavy heart, we have decided to temporarily close our shop at our headquarters in Street, Somerset from Friday 20th March. We will miss meeting and helping our customers face to face, but we hope it won’t be long before we can welcome you back.
Our website remains fully open for business and our call centre staff, many of whom are now working from home, will still be taking orders and offering help over the phone. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking to them, you’ll know that they are a wonderful source of advice and a friendly bunch who are always happy to have a chat so please keep in touch.
We know that many of you will be spending more time at home away from your usual networks and activities. If you’re not already part of our social media communities, we’d love you to join us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram where we’ll also be sharing lots of tips on how to stay both mentally and physically well.
Receiving parcels via Royal Mail and Parcelforce
Royal Mail and Parcelforce have stated that for all customers (including those who are self-isolating) where they need to deliver a parcel that won’t fit through your letterbox, they will place your item at your door. Having knocked on the door, they will then step aside while you retrieve your item. This will ensure that your item is delivered securely rather than being left outside.
In order to protect staff and their customers as much as possible, they will not be handing over their hand-held devices to customers to capture signatures. Postmen and women will instead log the name of the person accepting the item. This will apply to any deliveries that require a signature.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during these challenging times. We are enormously grateful for your custom and loyalty.
Please take care and stay safe.
