Wide fitting shoes can often mean old fashioned styles but Cosyfeet are proving that this isn’t the case by embracing the latest footwear colours and trends, whilst still maintaining an extra roomy fitting.
As their shoe designer Nick Brown comments: “Many of our customers suffer from very swollen feet but they still want to look stylish. They don’t want to wear footwear that looks medical, ugly or bulky. Our biggest challenge is to design quality, comfortable footwear that is fashionable and aesthetically pleasing whilst not compromising on the width and depth.”
Along with the rest of the footwear industry, Cosyfeet were already looking at the emerging colour trends for spring and summer 2014 around the middle of last year. They worked closely with their tanners to ensure that the leathers they chose for their footwear were on trend for this year.
At London Fashion Week, back in September 2013, the industry unveiled next season’s colours with a rainbow spectrum of shades from bold, brilliant blues to vivid reds and greens.
Cosyfeet’s colour pallet for this spring and summer has picked up on the trend for vivid brights. As a result, they’ve got some exciting new styles in an assortment of dazzling blue, vivid green and vibrant pomegranate.
