International Women's Day 2024

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we got in touch with our very own team here at Cosyfeet.

International Women’s Day (March 8th) is a global awareness day celebrating the achievements of women from all around the world. In recognition of this day, and to celebrate women everywhere, we got in touch with our very own team here at Cosyfeet, to find out about their lives and careers.

Hayley - Senior Graphic Designer

How long have you worked for Cosyfeet and what do you love most about your job?

I have worked for Cosyfeet for just over 3 years now! As the Senior Graphic Designer, I naturally love how visually creative I can be within the role, but I also really enjoy being able to collaborate with colleagues on ideas and concepts.

Which women do you most admire, and why?

One of the women I admire would have to be Susie Wolff, former racing driver and the Managing Director of F1 Academy. I have always had an interest in racing, and Susie is helping to pave the way for young women in motorsport. I was also lucky enough to see her behind the wheel of an F1 car at Silverstone back in 2014.

Outside of work, what achievements are you most proud of?

I enjoy raising money for charities and have even done a spot of volunteer dog walking, so I would have to say that I am proud of those activities - alongside my academic achievements!

Do you have a quote or piece of advice that you live your life by?

This quote from Niki Lauda is one of my favourites “You should always discuss the defeats because you can learn much more from failure than success.”

Laura - Human Resources Manager

How long have you worked for Cosyfeet and what do you love most about your job?

I have just recently passed my 17th anniversary at Cosyfeet and within my role as HR Manager my favourite part of my job is supporting and coaching staff members through challenges and developmental opportunities. Seeing people grow and become happier, more confident and content in their jobs is so rewarding.

Which women do you most admire, and why?

I admire the singer P!nk. She has such a strong and empowering personality that resonates through her songs, interviews and speeches. She works hard but is also the most devoted mum too. Being true to yourself and not letting other people get you down is a mantra that we all should embrace.

Outside of work, what achievements are you most proud of?

My biggest achievement is becoming a mum. From a young age I knew what kind of mum I wanted to be and to make that a reality makes me so incredibly proud. I have two daughters who have unique personalities and interests yet are similar in their love, kindness and respect. They make me proud every day.

Do you have a quote or piece of advice that you live your life by?

“Nothing is forever” – embrace change and the ability you have to change something for the better if you are not happy.
