The Big Jubilee Lunch
Described as a ‘once in a lifetime event’ the Big Jubilee Lunch will be taking place on Sunday 5th June 2022, and encourages everyone to come together and take part. Whether it’s having some friends over, or celebrating as one big street, it’s the perfect way to get involved.
Beacon lighting has been a long-standing tradition with royal occasions, and has become a ‘symbol of unity across towns, borders, countries and continents’. The beacons will be seen throughout the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and UK Overseas Territories, and one in each capital of the Commonwealth countries.
The Queen’s Green Canopy
The Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC) is a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, which invites people from across the United Kingdom to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”. Everyone is welcome to take part and help make our world a little greener.
