Walk off your Christmas dinner with a festive stroll

This Christmas, Britain's walking charity ‘Ramblers’ are encouraging people to get fitter and healthier over the festive period by doing more walking.

Enjoy a festival of winter walks

The Festival of Winter Walks is an annual event that’s organised by the walking charity ‘Ramblers’. It’s made up of hundreds of walks that take place all over the country between 19th December and 3rd January.

The walks are free, fun and open to everybody. Many of them are short and family-friendly but there’s also plenty of longer walks for the seasoned hiker.

It's a great way to burn off your Christmas dinner and have fun with the family at the same time.

For more information on Ramblers wintry walks, go to their Festival of Winter Walks page at www.ramblers.org.uk.
