Wool is self-cleaning. However, if you spill something on your Purewool™ footwear it can be hand-washed or machine-washed on a ‘wool delicates’ programme (max 30°C). After washing, put your hand inside the footwear and gently reshape. Leave to air dry. Do not tumble dry.
Please note: The footbed is not machine washable so please remove before washing. Washing the footbed should be done by hand in cold water using a delicate detergent suitable for woollen clothing. A running tap is preferable to being left soaking in a bowl of water. Leave to air dry. Do not tumble dry.
The slippers may shed a little. This is natural and the fibres just need to be plucked off in the same way that you would do with a wool jumper.
Our women’s styles are a 6E width fitting. They are specially designed to fit very wide or swollen feet and are wider, deeper and roomier than anything on the high street.

This footwear is machine washable at up to 30°C. Simply place in your washing machine with similar coloured items, ensuring that the touch-fastening is secured and wash on a normal setting.

Another style in our Purewool range, Mooch is the ideal house shoe, suitable for indoor or outdoor use. There is no adjustment with this style so it’s suitable for someone who has moderate swelling which doesn’t alter very much throughout the day. The sole is very flexible. Our Freida style is worth looking at if you want a similar style with some adjustment. If you particularly like this sole, our Mosey style might be for you.
