Our April competition is all about the beautiful spring flowers which start to blossom this season. We see a whole array of fabulous colours from bright yellow daffodils to perfectly purple irises. Not only do flowers look pretty, but they also have a positive effect on our mood. The Royal Horticultural Society states “Colours have a huge effect on our emotions. Plants with strong colours such as intense reds, oranges and yellows excite the emotions, they can make us feel happy and recharged.”
Inspired by this, we’re giving you the chance to win the deluxe ‘Winnie’ spring bouquet, complete with a chocolate and candle gift set. This stunning prize is worth over £80, with the bouquet specially made by Somerset-based florist, Abundiflora. Established in 2009, Abundiflora are based in the vibrant nearby town of Glastonbury. Owned and managed by Jake Nicholson-Lailey, they stock a beautiful selection of fresh cut flowers, plants, as well as greetings cards, candles and gifts.
