Pet health advice
The PDSA, our chosen charity of the year, have produced a number of free fact sheets with information about how to care for your pets. All the information is written by PDSA vets and is based on the most up-to-date knowledge about what different pets need. It gives advice on a range of topics including diet, behaviour and environment. It also covers a variety of animals from more common pets such as dogs, cats and hamsters to ferrets, rats and chinchillas.
The PDSA is the UK's leading veterinary charity. It was founded in 1917 by Maria Dickin CBE to provide care for sick and injured animals of the poor. In 2013 the charity provided over 2.3 million free veterinary treatments to pets in need.
